In this area we find Wincey's ashes. Head beyond the remains and climb over another board to go down some stairs. At the swamp take the first right and go to the trailer. It's Emma's home and BHR radio station. On the floor next to Wincey's bed is a box with a picture for a self assembly metal detector.

On the bed are the pieces we need to construct it to look like the picture. Once done, open up the front compartment and install the batteries batterys as the game spells it. Step further into the trailer and on the right side are some cassette tapes for the station. To the left is her computer. She loves her dog a lot so let's give it a try "Wincey" and yes it is case sensitive. On the shelf are some mushrooms take one of each of the two. Exit the Winnebago and return across the planks.

Take the next right towards the ruins. When at the ruins bring up the metal detector. In the spot pictured below it will go off. Remove the leaves and use the trowel in the spot to reveal part of an artifact, this is part 2 of it.

You can turn off the metal detector we wont need it anymore. Head around to the back of the cross gravestone and use your multi-use trowel to open a secret compartment. Take the metal lever. Now it's time to collect those offerings. Back by your disabled vehicle is a buidling St Anneka Well with an altar on the inside and on the outside has a stone tablet. Use the lamp, plain paper, and wax crayon on the stone tablet outside to get a copy of the stone inscription. Then head inside it using the lantern.

Use the metal artifact aka key lever in a black hole to reveal a secret compartment to your right. Return to the 5 candles in the main part of the well. Light the blue and brown candle and use an egg cup on the water to get the Blessed Water Offering. Head back to the service station. At the gas station by the running car is a pile, the remains of a human, take the Aqua Sensations Hair Tonic off the ground next to it. Use another egg cup to receive the Fish Offering. Head to the Diner and the table in the back look behind a menu to pick up the salt shaker.

Use another egg cup to get the Salt Offering. Head to the garage and up the ladder to the boss' office. Use the oil dispenser and use an egg cup to get the Oil Offering. Go back to the motel rooms and by Room 1 is a vending machine to purchase some fruit cans. Use the 50 Pence Coin and buy one of each.

Although we wont be using the Apple, so you can skip that one if you want. Return to the kitchen and next to where the lamp was is a blender. Get close to it and click on it. Pour Gooseberry and then two servings of Blackberry and one of Pear. Use an egg cup to collect the Fruit Juice Offering. Now we have to collect some plants.

Return to your disabled vehicle. Pick some of the droopy fungi near your car. Go forward until you can turn left and go up stairs. Take them up, it's right across from St Anneka's Well.

Requires the lamp to enter the area. Pick up some red shrooms the only mushroom you really need on the ground. Take a left at the dead end. You will find a whole bunch of rocks along the ground. Use the paper and wax crayon on them, you use the same piece so find the stone rubbing in your inventory and use it with the wax crayon. They're four of them. Return to the main road by St Anneka's Well and go forward to the petrol station.

Look to your left to find a bush with some red berries. Take them. Head down to where Conrad's jeep is but not all the way. Take the left off road and head to a barn. Off to the left is a box, put it on the 55 gallon drum and then climb into the window of the run down barn. Step Forward and fall down. Use your lantern to see around. To the left is a box with a torch in it. On the ground near a blue barrel is a rubber hose. Climb up the ladder.

On the right side of the table in a pan with a camera that you can view the pictures on it. Check out the compass on the window sill. Use the binoculars to find the standing stones. Pick up acorns on the next window sill. Return to the ground floor. Attach the hose and torch to the propane tank. Turn the valve on top of the tank and use a match to torch the lock off. On your return to the gas station by the right side of the telephone booth is more fungi should you wish to pick them up.

We'll only need the one you picked up by St. Anneka's Well the big red topped one Amanita Saponaceum. Return to the gas station kitchen and in the back by the radio you will find a place to set your basket on the counter next to a hand grinder and cutting board with knife. Now place the red topped mushroom, the berries, and the acorn into the mortar.

Use the pestle to grind the ingredients and use an egg cup. You will have received the Plant Mixture Offering. There is one more artifact to collect to complete it and one more offering to get. Let's do this. Exit the building. Our location we want to get to is the row of four stones again. By the alarm car is a path into the woods take it. Use your lamp and travel the leftish path from the protester area.

Go past the stones to where the sifter is. There is a pile on the left of it. Use the metal detector and the trowel, pick up the flask and use an egg cup.

This will give up the Whiskey Offering. If you miss an important object, you won't be able to progress at some stage in the game. Service station, forecourt After an introduction that has you driving into the English countryside, you abandon the car after it stalls. There's a Mercedes there at the pumps, with its engine still running. Head around the pumps to the front of the car, and you'll see some children's toys.

Get a close-up, and recover the Wax Crayon. To the right of that, you can also get a close-up of what appears to be a pile of rocks with a pair of broken eyeglasses on it. Move your cursor around the rocks until you find a Fungus Guide. In a rack just behind you are three buckets, one of which contains a withered bouquet of flowers. In the right-most bucket you will find some Matches.

Now you can head into the service station building. Service station, entrance Access the door to the left marked OFFICE, and a terrified man in there is babbling on about recent happenings.

You don't learn much from him, and he won't come out of the office, so just ignore him for the time being. There's some information in there that will come in handy later on. Might as well have a good read about Barrow Hill on the bulletin board. At the bottom of the bulletin board is a drawing of the seven stones around the barrow , along with names the locals have given them, which from left to right are:.

Service station, kitchen Go into the cafe next, then turn around and head into the area that contains a cash register. Go through the door there to enter the kitchen.

It's dark in here, and we'll need to get some light before we're allowed to do anything. Just to the right of the entrance is a lantern. Click on the base of the lantern to turn it around, open the fuel valve by turning the lever on top, and use one of the Matches you got from the forecourt to light it.

Pick up the lit Lantern to acquire it in inventory. Turn around degrees, and now you can see a fusebox on the wall. Open it, flick the switch on the bottom of the fusebox, take out the fourth fuse, and use the bit of wire you find up on the top left of the fusebox to repair the fuse. Then put the fuse back into place and flick the switch on the bottom of the fusebox again. The kitchen is now lit up. Wherever you find a radio in this game, and this is the first one you encounter, tune it into You can obtain a Basket from a cabinet in the kitchen, and just underneath that cabinet is a box containing some Egg Cups.

Note that there is some apparatus in the kitchen that might come in handy later on, most notably a cutting board with a mortar and pestle nearby, and a blender. Exit the kitchen and pick up the note under the cash register.

You now know the combination of room 2. The combination varies each time you play the game, so you'll have to note it down. Head over there and use the combination to enter the room. Note: now that you have the Lantern, you may venture to places where your path randomly becomes blocked by a huge sentry stone. If you touch this stone you will immediately perish. But not to worry, your character is restored to a point just before this fatal move, and you have the opportunity to turn around and get out of there.

When you return to this area some time later, chances are good that the stone will no longer be there. Motel, room 2 On the desk to your left is a radio that you can tune into You hear Ben calling in from the service station office and spouting the same gibberish that you heard from him earlier. Open the green box on the desk to obtain a Trowel. On the right-hand side of the desk is a drawer that you can open, which contains a Mobile Phone. Note the 'low battery' warning.

We'll have to find a way to recharge it. Also some letters there of interest. One from a C Morse, Peter's colleague, welcoming him to the site. And another from what may be Peter's girlfriend, Lucy. You learn that the 'C' stands for Conrad. On the wall opposite the bed is a better area map than the one above the desk. Access the satchel on the bed to read Peter's journal. They've opened a trench around each of the stones and are recovering pots and such.

Head just south of the service station to the playground area, and click on the loose slat in the wooden fence to access the area behind the service station. Behind service station You can see Ben being his usual despondent self through the back window of the office.

Through a hole in the chain link fence at the bottom of the fence's door, you can gain access to the mobile phone base station. Open up the panel, and you discover that this station operates in a frequency range between and megahertz. Hit the red button at the bottom right to lock your choice in. Then get back to the road, and head east all the way to the end of the road till you come to a crashed jeep.

There's a radio on the front seat of the jeep, that if you tune into Accessing it from inventory gets you an area map that you can access from within the game, and you also learn that Conrad was staying in room 3 at the motel. Note his door combination. Also on the ground there, in a close-up of a rock pile, you can find Conrad's driver's licence but I never found a use for any of the info on it. Take note of the details on the jeep's number plate.

You can now climb up to a window to access the upper floor of the barn. Looks like this place was occupied by people that were protesting against the excavations of the Barrow Hill site. Advance forward until you fall through the floor, then use the Lantern on the ladder and climb back up.

You can pick up an Acorn from the window sill on the left it goes into your Basket , and read the diary of one Trevor Spencer. You can also view the stone circle through binoculars, and there's a camera in a dish on the table that contains some rather unremarkable photos. When you're done up here, head back down the ladder. In a box you will find a Gas Torch , and on the floor next to a barrel there is a Rubber Tube. Finally, light the Gas Torch with the Matches to get rid of the padlock, and make your escape from the barn.

Motel, room 2 Head back to the motel. Might as well go into the cafe on the way there, and use the Trowel on the cash register to get some Pound Coins. Then enter Peter's room again. Sure enough, the phone is charged now if the green light isn't showing on the base unit yet, you'll have to wait a while and come back. No signal in the room, but if you go outside into the forecourt you can call Emma Harry. Something happens to her dog during the call, and you can't re-connect. While you're here in the forecourt, get a close-up of the rocks next to the rear of the Mercedes.

You wind up with a Fish Offering. Go back,turn right and enter the Cafe on the left Go forward,turn around and go forward. Turn around and examine the cash register. Take the note from underneath the cash register and write down the code for Motel Room 2, the code will be random.

Put the note down,go back,turn left and enter the kitchen. Wow it's dark! Turn right and examine the yellow lantern. Turn the top handle to turn the gas on,then turn the lantern towards you. Turn around and open the blue fuse box. Look inside. Press the red button on the bottom to turn the power off to the fuse box. Then click on the 4th fuse from the left twice. Click on the spool of wire three times. Click on the 4th fuse again and press the red button to turn the power on.

Close the fuse box and turn right. Go towards the kitchen sink and examine the radio. Turn the power on and turn to channel Listen to Emma Harry. She will give you her phone number Turn the radio off,go back and turn right.

Close the cabinet and look underneath the cabinet. Exit the kitchen and go back to the cafe. Go to the table on the right with the three red flowers in a vase and two menus Click on the menu that's standing up to lay it on the table. Pick up the salt shaker and use the Egg Cups. Exit the Service Station. Go forward past the gas pumps,turn left,forwards and left.

Examine the pile of rocks or dirt beside the silver Mercedes-Benz. Pick up the bottle of hair tonic. Use the Egg Cups. Click on the top of the bottle to open it. Go back,turn left,forwards and left. Go towards the picnic table,turn left and go to Room 2. The code will be random so I can't give you the answer. Enter the code in the keypad and if it is correct the door will open.

Open the 1st drawer and take the mobil phone that's low on battery. Turn around and put the mobile phone on the charger sitting on the nightstand. Turn around and examine the radio. Turn the radio on and turn it to channel Listen to Emma Harry,you will hear her phone number Exit the motel room and go back inside the cafe. Examine the cash register and use the Trowel to open it. Surely that mobil phone is charged by now.

Exit the room and get back on the road. Go forward past the "Barrow Hill Service Station" sign and the swing set playground Turn your lantern on and continue going down the road. Enter the red phone booth and pick up the phone. Listen to some strange voices. Exit the phone booth and continue going down the road until you come to a wrecked military Jeep.

We'll examine the Jeep in a minute,turn left and go up the trail to an old barn. Go towards the barrel on the ground and click on the wooden crate,turn right and click above the barrel to put the wooden crate on top of the barrel.

Climb up on the wooden crate and you will be inside a loft. Go forwards. Turn your Lantern on and go up the ladder. Examine the items on the desk. Look in the pot and pick up the camera. Turn the camera on and scroll thru the pictures. When your done looking,put the camera down and turn left.

Examine the right windowsill. Pick up the green binoculars and look thru them. Turn the binoculars to the right to see a set of stones and the moon.

Put the binoculars down. You can read the journal if you like. Examine the left windowsill. Turn around and go back down the ladder. Turn left and examine the wagon. Turn around and examine the gas tank. Attach the Rubber Tube to the coupleing.

Attach the Gas Torch to the end of the Rubber Tube. Turn the knob to turn the gas on. Use the Matches to light the Torch. Go outside,turn right and go back down the trail to the Jeep. Look at the items laying on the ground beside the Jeep.

Pick up the PDA. Look inside the Jeep driver side Pick up the radio and press the round button to turn it on. Press the down button to turn to channel She will give you the phone number to BHR Turn the radio off and go to the back of the Jeep.

Write down the license plate number 4 x Turn around,go back down the road,back to the Motel Rooms. Read about the Motel Door Code room 3 Enter the code in the keypad. The code will be random.

Read a piece of journal that's underneath the pillow. Read about the artifact fragments and the GPS coordinates. Put the piece of paper down and move the cursor to the left of the screen. Examine the trashcan. Take the ripped up note and rearrange the pieces. The note reads "My briefcase combination code is now reset.

I've used a solution that can be found on my jeeps number plate". A clue! Turn right and examine the briefcase laying on the desk. And the numbers were 4 x Looks like a math problem to me. On the briefcase press the top of the combination to move the numbers up and press the bottom of the combination to move the numbers down.
